RULES
Texas Hold'em is a community-card poker game in which players compete against each other — not against the house. Minimum age to play: 18.
How do you play Texas Hold'em Poker?
The game uses a standard 52-card deck and every hand follows the same sequence:
1. Blinds — the two players to the left of the dealer button place the compulsory bets: the small blind and the big blind. These positions rotate clockwise with every hand.
2. Hole cards — each player receives 2 face-down cards that only they may see.
3. Pre-flop — first betting round. Each player may fold, call the current bet or raise; if no one raises, the big blind may check.
4. Flop — the dealer places 3 community cards face up on the table. Another betting round follows; players may also check or bet if no one has bet before them.
5. Turn — the 4th community card is revealed, followed by another betting round.
6. River — the 5th and final community card is revealed, followed by the last betting round.
7. Showdown — the remaining players reveal their cards. The best five-card hand wins, using any combination of the 2 hole cards and the 5 community cards.
8. Winning without a showdown — if all opponents fold in any round, the last player left in the hand wins the pot without showing their cards.
