RULES

American Roulette

American Roulette is a table game in which each player bets with personal colour chips on the numbers and combinations of the layout; a ball spun on the wheel decides the winning number. It is played at Solverde casinos. Minimum age is 18.

How do you play American Roulette?

In American Roulette each player receives chips of an exclusive colour, so everyone's bets can be identified on the layout. The aim is to predict the number on which the ball will land.

1. Sit at the table and exchange cash or value chips for colour chips. The croupier assigns you an exclusive colour; the value of each chip is set at the moment of exchange.

2. Place your bets on the layout.** You can bet on a single number, on combinations of adjacent numbers, or on the outside areas (red/black, even/odd, dozens, columns).

3. The croupier spins the wheel and sends the ball in the opposite direction to the wheel's rotation.

4. "No more bets." Once the croupier closes the betting, you may no longer place, move or remove chips.

5. The ball settles in a numbered pocket. The croupier announces the winning number and colour and marks it on the layout with the dolly.

6. Losing bets are collected by the croupier, leaving only the winning bets on the layout.

7. Winning bets are paid according to the fixed payout table (see below).

8. Next spin. You can bet again straight away. When leaving the table, exchange your colour chips back into value chips at the table itself.

Frequently Asked Questions

Have questions? We answer them.

1-What is the difference between American Roulette and French Roulette?
In American Roulette each player uses exclusive colour chips, the layout uses English terms and the pace of play is faster. In French Roulette, value chips shared by all players are used and the table is run by several croupiers.
2. How many cards does each player receive?
Each player receives 2 private face-down cards. Five community cards are dealt during the hand, and the final five-card hand is built from any combination of the 7 available cards.
3. What happens to my bets when 0 comes up?
Bets that include 0 (straight up or combinations) are paid as normal. For even-money bets, the outcome depends on the house rule.
4. Can I win using only the community cards?
Yes. If the 5 community cards form your best hand, you "play the board" — but any opponent who reaches the showdown holds at least the same hand.

5. Can I bet on several numbers at the same time?
Yes. You may place as many bets as you wish on the same spin, within the minimum and maximum limits displayed at the table.
